The special exhibition dedicated to the globally popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Exhibition: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death & Shibuya Incident, will open on December 4 at DUEX Hongdae. After successfully touring various locations across Japan, including Tokyo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Osaka, Hokkaido, Ishikawa, and Miyagi, with further exhibitions continuing in areas such as Hyogo, the exhibition is now coming to Korea for its first international presentation outside Japan.
Under the theme “Reliving the Hearts and Battles That Intersected Across Different Eras,” the exhibition focuses on two major story arcs from Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and Shibuya Incident. Alongside immersive exhibition spaces inspired by memorable scenes from the series, visitors will encounter a wide range of production materials used in the anime, including original drawings, storyboards, and setting materials. Through these exhibits, visitors can explore the relationships between the characters and the “hearts” and “battles” that intersect across different eras from multiple perspectives.
In Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, visitors can look back on the youth shared by Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri when they were students at Tokyo Jujutsu High, as well as the events that would profoundly change the course of their lives. The exhibition then moves on to Shibuya Incident, where visitors can experience the intense battles unfolding in Shibuya between jujutsu sorcerers, cursed spirits, and curse users, with Yuji Itadori and his allies at the center. By bringing together two arcs set in different periods within a single exhibition, the show invites visitors to revisit the characters’ journeys, their intricately intertwined relationships, and the feelings each of them carries. Another highlight is the opportunity to experience through the exhibition space the contrasting atmospheres of Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, reminiscent of a peaceful youth, and Shibuya Incident, where fierce battles unfold.
Another key feature of the exhibition is the opportunity to explore not only the completed anime but also the production process behind its creation. The venue will showcase a rich collection of production materials actually used in the making of the anime, including original drawings, storyboards, and setting materials.
Visitors will be able to take a closer look at how the characters’ expressions and movements, as well as memorable scenes they have only seen in the finished animation, went through the production process to become part of the anime. The exhibition is expected to offer a special experience not only for Jujutsu Kaisen fans but also for visitors interested in the anime production process.
A variety of spaces will also be available for visitors to experience the world of the series firsthand and capture the memories in photographs. At the entrance, a life-size figure of protagonist Yuji Itadori will greet visitors and mark the beginning of the exhibition. In the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death section, visitors can find a photo zone recreating a classroom at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where they can take pictures alongside life-size character panels featuring newly created illustrations for the arc, as if they were members of the school themselves. The Shibuya Incident section will feature life-size panels using new illustrations, along with photo zones that capture the tension and intensity characteristic of the series.
The exhibition will also present an “Anime Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Zone,” where visitors can look back on the anime’s journey. Through key visuals and illustrations released over the years, visitors can revisit the past five years of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime. A handwritten autograph by Junya Enoki, the voice actor who plays Yuji Itadori, will also be on display.
Special merchandise and a collaboration café will add to the enjoyment of the exhibition. In addition to original merchandise available exclusively in Korea, a collaboration café is also planned, offering desserts and beverages featuring popular characters and imagery from the series.
The Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Exhibition: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death & Shibuya Incident will be held at DUEX Hongdae from December 4, 2026, to February 28, 2027, with no closing days. Timed-entry sessions will be in effect from the opening day, December 4, through December 6. From December 7 onward, the exhibition will switch to open admission, allowing visitors to enter freely without selecting a time slot.
Tickets will be available through YES24 Ticket. Timed-entry tickets will go on sale first on October 13, followed by open-admission tickets on October 14.
