Tokyo Revengers Exhibition to Be Held in Busan Following Seoul

From July 12 to October 19 at DUEX Busan – full experience including merch shop, collab café, and photo zones

Early bird tickets open June 2

Thanks to the popularity of the Tokyo Revengers exhibition in Seoul, the event will now head to Busan this July.

Created by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers first began serialization in 2017 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. It concluded in November 2022 with a total of 31 volumes and has surpassed 80 million copies in circulation.

The exhibition, which began in March at DUEX Hongdae Hall 1 in Seoul, has been met with an enthusiastic response. Following its conclusion on June 29, the exhibition will move to DUEX Busan starting July 12, continuing its wave of popularity.

The Busan exhibition will feature the same lineup as Seoul, including newly drawn illustrations by Ken Wakui made specifically for the exhibition. Visitors can enjoy everything from the merchandise shop to the collab café and photo service—just like in Seoul.

From the entrance, visitors are greeted by life-size standees of 11 newly illustrated characters. Among them, Takemichi Hanagaki and Manjiro Sano (Mikey) have their iconic outfits recreated in real life, offering a striking visual experience. Additional highlights include a blackboard illustration by Takemichi’s friend Yamagishi, Draken’s sculpted abs, and Mikey’s cherished towel—all adding depth to the immersive world of Tokyo Revengers. The exhibition’s most popular photo spot features life-size 3D figures of Takemichi and Mikey, recreating the iconic "Kanto Incident" scene from the story, and has become a must-see attraction for visitors.

Reproduced manga art and immersive video displays are also major draws. Over 50 memorable scenes are divided into five themed zones, while an impressive three-screen installation immerses viewers in the climactic battle among the Tokyo Manji Gang, Tenjiku, and Black Dragon—dubbed the "Kanto Three-Way Showdown."

At the "Mikey Mart" merchandise shop, visitors can browse a variety of items including exclusive Korean exhibition goods alongside original Japanese products. The collab café offers themed menu items such as a macaron set featuring character designs and the “Mikey’s Dark Impulse Ade.” Character coasters are also offered as special gifts with purchases.

Building on the success of its Seoul run, the Tokyo Revengers Exhibition will welcome visitors in Busan from July 12 to October 19. As a bonus, every visitor will receive one randomly selected postcard from a set of seven featuring key scenes from the manga.

Tickets will be available at a 30% early bird discount from June 2 to June 30.

Tokyo Revengers tells the story of Takemichi Hanagaki, who is past his prime in his mid-20s and finds a chance to change his fate when he time-leaps 12 years into the past after learning that his only girlfriend from middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed. The revenge-themed story won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category in 2020 and has been adapted into a TV anime, live-action films, and stage productions.
