Global Hit Anime <Chainsaw Man> Comes to Korea as an Immersive Exhibition

Exclusive videos and behind-the-scenes making films revealed for the first time

Opening July 19 at DUEX Hongdae Hall 2

The hit anime <Chainsaw Man>, based on the manga by Japanese artist Tatsuki Fujimoto and produced by the renowned animation studio MAPPA, is coming to Korea as an immersive exhibition this July.

Originally airing in October 2022, the <Chainsaw Man> TV anime took the world by storm. The first-ever official exhibition was held in Tokyo in 2023, and the Asia Tour began in January 2024 at INCUBASE Arena in Hong Kong, followed by Taiwan—and now, it finally arrives in Korea.

The original <Chainsaw Man> manga is serialized on Shueisha's app “Shonen Jump+” and has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation. MAPPA, known for producing <Jujutsu Kaisen> and <Attack on Titan: The Final Season>, handled the anime adaptation.

The story follows Denji, who works as a devil hunter with his chainsaw demon companion Pochita to pay off his deceased parents’ debt. After a betrayal leads to his death, Denji makes a contract with Pochita and is reborn as Chainsaw Man, setting off a gripping and action-packed journey.

This exhibition recreates iconic scenes from episodes 1 to 12 of the TV anime, allowing visitors to be fully immersed in the world of <Chainsaw Man>.

One of the main highlights is a lineup of life-size 1:1 figures, including Chainsaw Man, Makima, Power, and Aki Hayakawa—bringing the vivid emotions and thrill of the anime to life. A wealth of production materials curated by MAPPA will also be on display, including original animation cels, concept art, storyboards, and character design sheets. Visitors will also enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and making-of videos, along with specially designed photo zones for unforgettable memories.

Official merchandise and a photo service will also be available. In addition to original goods made in Japan, limited-edition items exclusive to the Korean exhibition will be on sale. Visitors can also take commemorative photos with <Chainsaw Man> characters.

The exhibition will take place at DUEX Hongdae Hall 2, Korea’s premier venue for manga and anime exhibitions, from July 19 to November 9, 2025. Early bird tickets will be available starting May 29 via NOL Ticket (Interpark) and Naver.
